Hi,
I am thinking of becoming a foreign citizen and applying for NRN card.
Is the card worth it? Can i stay in Nepal indefinitely renewing it every 10 years?
With the foreign passport, it will be easier to travel for tourism or for medical reasons.
I have stayed abroad for so long but never gave up my Nepalese passport but now i want to return.
Does the NRN card allow stay in India too?

i do not think NRN card will allow you to stay indefinitely in Nepal. along with the card, you will have to obtain some kind of residency visa in order to stay in Nepal.
i dont have the card, people who have experience can further add on the information about this.

Finally got homesick to go back indefinitely? and before that you want foreign citizenship? and then NRN card? WOW.
It might be a year or more to go through getting citizenship and then NRN card. By that time your homesick will be vanished.

I needed to rent/ own some land for bussiness purpose around kathmandu. I probably wont spend more than a month back there & i am not a NRN member. I would be a founder of that bussiness. I am a US citizen, now what s the process of renting/owning some land for foreign citizen in nepal? Appreciate you guys suggestions !!!
