Actually got my mail late. so i had to reschedule my biometrics appointment for TPS. Do any one have any idea how long will it usually take to get an appointment?

I think your old appointment letter will work just fine for biometrics at application support center. Give it a shot. If they don't want to take your biometrics take another appointment.

ya, go to ASC and tell them you got the letter late in mail. Give a try, if they do it for you, you don't need to schedule another one. If they deny, ask them what you need to do. Don't wait, go on Monday and resolve soon.
