Just wanted to check if there are any newar community in bay-area, I am not trying to be racist infact my husband is non-newar but sometime I missed my culture like yomari puni, yaadya ,mha puja and all and soon my parents are visiting me too .

Big one in santa rosa..not sure about bay area but there must be one for sure

Not sure about newar community, but there certainly must be a nepalese community. But that's not what you are looking for, are you?

Thanks for the wonderful suggestion @magorkhe1 , Ya feel I am missing the connection so trying to find people. And @ microbiology yea there are lots of Nepali community in Berkely and El-Cerrito area but looking something newari community where we can celebrate newari festival like mha puja, yomari puni and all too not just dashai,tihar, teej and all.

There is moderate Newari population we can create a new newar organization if you'd like

May be u need to hangout with more Nepalese in bay area. The probability of meeting your kind of people is 1/3 in bay area.
