Cheap and less transit time. I would say it's the best route out from Western Canada and US. They mostly use new 787.

I just had 5 hrs of transit time when I went back home. But if your transit is over 8 hours, they will give you temporary permits and take you to hotel free of cost. It's up you to rest or go around.
