US credit rating downgraded from AAA.....bloodbath on wallstreet ...come monday? any takers for gold ?

Gold is already too expensive, IMHO, though GS prognosticates it will go up to 2500.  

But this might be a good time to get in the game and invest some money in equities.

What say you?

IMO the gold market( the precious metals market as a whole) is due for a correction and we should see it if the market stabilizes...

I think its too early to say anything right now...it will take a while for some aftershocks and some levelling off for the market to find a base...there's still a lot more things which might go wrong in the future and the white house aint showing enough that it can come out of all this mess...

I would lean towards trading along the indices rather than investing right now...if you are strictly investing then jst sit back and enjoy the "fall"

the market might have a little upside tomorrow but there will be heavy selling into any pops and bring it down....

In this uncertain market; you can't trust  on anything or anyone.Therefore, the ideal solution would be that withdraw all the money and put it under your sleeping mat. But,SSSSsshhhhhHH be aware of rat,cockroaches and your roommate ( you may risk losing it alltogether)
