i had their 2006 investment newsletter and most of their stocks did really good if u sold it last year. i didnt buy any stocks, but i went to yahoo finance and looked and i see most of their recommendations did very well. i think it really works great.. they have great picks.. but u must know when u want to get out. the 49% return is true.. but i think this motley fool company started in the year 2001 i think... so that is one of the main reasons they have such high returns... they bought lot of their stocks cheap... right now stocks are also cheap.. so i think it may not be bad idea... i will also contribute a litle bit to u if u wanna share with me the picks. they will give u account with PDF newsletter so if we have more people, we can all share the cost.

hsinam - motely fool is a great way to get stated and get into investment. when i first started buying stocks, i subscribed to them and they had some great suggestions. they also had stocks that didn't do so well (see 2 years history on SCSS). motely fools always advice u to diversify and never to put all your eggs in one basket. i stopped subscribing to it couple years ago but i would recommend it to anyone who is new to investing and stock market. motley guys do a great job of educating its subscribers in plain everday english that is an easy read and also very informative.
