Hi All !

I got H1B stamping from Kathmandu consular office on 24th March, 09.
But the Sponsoring Co. at New Jersey didn't want me to go to US as the market is not good right now.

I called them and they told that they don't know exactly how long it may take for the market to raise up. Until then I have to hang here.

I know only few about the H1B so I need suggestions from you guys.

Can I go to US and hang on any other work until the Comapany arrange me job? I have some relative at PA but they don't know about H1B.

Since the situation here at Kathmandu is becoming worse, I am finding difficult to stay here.

I need your suggestion.

Thanks in advance.

hi Friend,

You better stay there in Kathmandu until your Company calls you to U.S. Otherwise, you would be out of status without job here in U.S.

Its a risky situation. You can come to US with that VISA, but at the port of entry, they might ask for job offer letter and client letter. Bcoz of the recession, anything can happen.

Apply for a job in another company and ask them to file H-1B Transfer. Once approved, you can come here and work. One of my reltives did that last year,
