Due to some events at fort meyer park, the park authority has cancelled our reservation, but we have made a reservation at rock creek reginoal park , so jus want to let u all know that we will be doin it in rock creek park , any body from dc and norther va needs a ride do let us know we will be moving from here around 2;30 pm.
Direction to Rock Creek Regional Park
6700 Needwood Rd., Derwood // Directions: 1) Take Georgia Ave. (Rt.97) North, 2) Make left on Norbeck Rd. (Rt.28), 3) Make right at 1st light - Muncaster Mill Rd., 4) Make left at 1st light (approx. 2 miles - Avery Rd., 5) Park entrance on right OR 1) Take 1-270 North to exit for Shady Grove Rd, 2) Bear right immediately after you get on exit ramp - onto Redland Rd, 3) Follow Redland Rd. past Rt.355, 4) Make right on Needwood Rd., 5) Go past golf course and lake - entrance on right. Facilities at shelter: 4 picnic tables, 2 double grills, handicap accessible.
