Western Union is expensive.It is safe to use your local banks.Some of them charge $40.But others do that for $20 or so.Just call them and ask how much they charge for International Money Transfer under $5000. DP.

Has anybody used -- https://sendmoney.nepbiz.com/index.php ? Seems like they have the lowest rates (if you use check/bank account). I am not sure how reliable they are. I have never used it personally. I found this link under "Featured Sites" in the main Sajha home page.
